I love Baby Einstein tours, they are Asher’s all time favorite movies.  Ones he not only watches - but learns from.  This latest video is his all time favorite, its got all the things he loves - puppets, music, animals, words he can repeat.  It is adorable watching him repeat not only the songs but the individual words on the video. It also rocks because he lets me study more when they are on.  I put them in the little DVD player and he watches them at lunch, between ransack runs, while getting his diaper changed, even on the potty.

This video is called the World Animal Adventure. It’s chalked full of exotic animals - Asian panda’s, snow monkeys, giraffe’s, elephants, gorilla’s.  There are two ways to watch this movie, one is the traditional video, the other is "grow with me" and has more words for learning babies.  This is the one Asher likes the most.  The extra words really draw him in.  You can also select a small segment, perfect for those times you need only 5 to 10 minutes to fold some laundry or make some lunch, there are some great puppet shows in this section.  There is a World Animal Song and one of my other favorite things is the Spanish and French Language tracks.  Like you would expect the video is bright, colorful, informative, fun, and educational.  It got two thumbs up from my 3 year old and my 18 month old.

Make sure to check the website for more great Baby Einstein products, they are seriosuly among the greatest toys you can buy your children.

Baby Einstein, Mom Stuff, Baby stuffDecember 8, 2008 9:53 am

I love bay einstein!!  I really do.  I think it is one of the most amazing things a Mom can do for her little one…give them the gift of knowledge AND make it fun.  Fun things to touch, to read, to learn.  Most of my favorite gifts have been of the baby einstein variety.  I did the flash cards with Abby every day for 18 months, and by that time she could repeat all 50 of them to me..not bad eh!!!

I got to try out three Baby Einstein products through Mom Central ..all new to me..the 10th anniversary Baby Mozart Dvd, a touch and feel Farm Animal book, and a lullabye CD.  I have to tell you it was a tough one to pick who enjoyed them more, 11 month old Asher or 2 1/2 year old Abby.  They tug-of-warred over the board book.  Abby had a lot of fun repeating the animals and making the right noises while touching the different textures.  Asher couldn’t stop petting the horse.  He loved it.  And for a little guy who won’t even sit to eat that is no small feat.

The dvd captivated Abby who felt the need to dance around the house yelling "Mom…look at me" and Asher was happily crawling around on the floor  staring at the TV and stopping to clap occassionally. As always the colors and fun shapes they use with the music draw the little ones right in. I wish I could have gotten a picture of Asher clapping and rocking but he just wouldn’t sit still long enough.

The Lullabye cd was a hit with them also..I put it on when it was time for us to color and the music seemed to soothe them.   I was not disappointed once again, I have never met one of their products that I didn’t covet.  If you happen to be looking for some great gift ideas for your little ones..you will never regret picking these up.  Every Mom deserves 15 minutes to maybe eat breakfast without sharing and sip a cup of coffee before putting it back into high gear, and every little one deserves a great book and warm cuddly arms.  Click the Baby Einstein logo above and you can check out the website to pick up all three of these products.

I really do.  I got to review the Baby Einstein’s First Moves DVD.  It is a playful celebration of movement that gets your baby moving, laughing and dancing. I totally recommend you go out and get it…its a great chance for you and your kids to bond and excercise.

I have today, Asher, who is 2 month old even loved it.  As we watched I would stretch his arms along with the puppets or the babies and he would smile.  I would stand him up when they were standing and he would put all his weight on his toes and stand up as tall as he could.  I really enjoyed that time with him, just helping him stretch, roll over, situp, and bounce.  He was enthralled by the bright colors and the music.  It was an instant hit and I know this is something I will be doing with him often when he has his UP time in the afternoon.

Abby, who just turned 2 enjoyed it too.  She would watch intently and stretch, or roll over and laugh.  She loved the clapping animals and wanted to see them "moore".  She got over excited halfway through and danced and twirled through most of the last 10 minutes, but was having a great time nonetheless. She would loudly announce "there is a monkey", "baby happy feet" or "PEEK A BOO BABY".

They both sat with me long enough to go through a few of the special features and anyone who has a 2 year old and a 2 month old knows what a feat this is!!!  We went through the Let’s pretend, which I am sure if Abby’s favorite part of the whole DVD.  There is a whole bunchof great extra features including a section with a pilates instructor that goes over how to move with baby that I thought was neat.

So, I have to say..grab this DVD up, you won’t regret this chance to talk cuddle and move with your baby or toddler!
