Another Conversation with Abby

Abby: Pass me that book Freak.

Mom: Abby! That’s not nice!

Abby: Why freak?

Mom: Calling people a freak can hurt their feelings and make them cry. Do you want Mommy to cry?

Abby: Sure freak.

Mom: Abby. Stop it. Right now.

Abby: Okay, okay.

She walks out of the room and I hear a quiet little "Mom’s freaky" before she closes the bathroom door.

I am the 28 year old lucky wife of one great husband, lucky Mom of four awesome girls (from 12 to 3 years old) and one busy little guy (1 year old). Presiding in Winnipeg,MB allows me to enjoy a wide range of hobbies: shoveling, ice skating, snowblowing, sledding, shivering, playing with the thermostat, dressing the kids in 13 layers of clothes and rolling them down the driveway, swatting mosquitoes, dodging road construction and when I am not busy with those things I am a full time university student, I love to read, and I tell great jokes (despite what my children may tell you to the contrary).
