Was one of those long days, you know the kind that don’t necessarily go WRONG but really never go right??? A few post day highlights include me stepping in dog doo and dropping the full garbage cans while being attacked by the offending hound, tripping over her run cord, her stealing the pepperoni I bought for the pizza (which was so not funny when you consider I braved the store to get it even though Asher was singing his loud and tearful praises to the lord thinking about what a great Mom I was) while I took Asher in the house, asking Cheyenne to hold my wallet (I don’t remember this, but the book fair was a blur) and then continuining to run around the school with said child looking for it before she tucks her hands into her jacket and find it. Just a snippet.
Today was much better. My mother in law came over to make cabbage rolls with me, and from there it progressed to including mouse (plumi mus is how the cookbook spells it ??), homemade buns, cinnamon rolls and a big mess
). It was much more fun, and yummy. Now I am off to enjoy several hours of social organization in cross cultural perspectives among horticultural societies of New Guinea and Turkey. Aren’t you mildly jealous???
